【摘要】:Thisstandarddescribesthesamplingproceduresandmethodsforthedeterminationofparticleconcentrationandsizedistribution.Threemethodsarespecified.Oneusesanautomaticparticlesizeanalyser,workingonthelightinterruptionprinciple.Theothertwouseanopticalmicroscope,ineitherthetransmittedlightorincidentlightmode,tocountparticlescollectedonthesurfaceofamembranefilter.TheopticalmicroscopemethodsaredescribedinISO4407.Allthreemethodsareapplicabletobothusedandunusedinsulatingliquids.AnnexAcontainsanalternativesamplingprocedureusingasyringeandAnnexBreportsareferenceforthecalibrationofautomaticparticlecounters.NOTE1Themethodsarenotintendedtomeasureparticulatematterinliquidscontainingsludge.WhileanalysingsolidcontentonoilscontainingsludgereferstomethodforsedimentandsludgedeterminationinIEC60422,AnnexC.NOTE2Themethodsspecifiedareonlyapplicabletomeasurementsrelatedtoalimitedrangeofsizeandnumber.
