【摘要】:ThisPartofBS7258describesamethodfortheassessmentofthecontainmentefficiencyofgeneralpurposelaboratoryfumecupboards.ThemethodisapplicabletofumecupboardscoveredbyBS7258.ItisnotintendedforapplicationtospecialpurposefumecupboardsasdetailedinBS7258:Part1:1994.ItdoesnotapplytothetestingofmicrobiologicalsafetycabinetsforwhichreferenceshouldbemadetoBS5726.Thetestprocedureisintendedforuseintypetestinginastandardizedtestroombutmayalsobeappliedtothedeterminationofthecontainmentofaninstalledfumecupboardunderonsiteconditions.
